We understand you because we are you
The Founders
Pauline Brookes & Clara Emanuel
Two sisters who stepped into the world of motherhood while navigating the challenging waters of entrepreneurship and leadership.
When we transitioned from our corporate careers to self-employment and became mothers ourselves, we found there was a stark lack of support professionally, mentally and personally for women who worked in a different way.
So we created it ourselves.
We go beyond 'one size fits all' solutions for women; we are revolutionaries redefining how women work. Traditional models often overlook the unique, individual challenges faced by self-employed mothers. WorkWelle is designed to fill this gap, providing a tailored, individualised experience that integrates professional growth with personal wellbeing.
With young children at home, we experienced the intense ups and downs of motherhood alongside the demands of our professional lives. We were sick of the hustle culture, and of feeling like we had to 'win back' our professional worth post-partum. Our priorities may have shifted, but we still had big dreams and professional ambitions. The pressure was immense, and at times, we doubted our abilities to manage both roles effectively.
In these moments of doubt, we sought a service that understood not just the 'what' of professional development but the 'how' of integrating it with real, messy, beautiful family life. We needed a community that did more than just nod to work-life balance but actively supported and structured around it. But our search left us empty-handed. There was nothing that fully embraced the dual journey of motherhood and professional growth in the way we needed it. So WorkWelle was born.
